About Perry Mallory

I am a passionate Christian Southern Gospel soloist, singer, evangelist dedicated to spreading God's message of faith and hope through powerful music and heartfelt preaching.

My Mission
My Vision

To continue to inspire and uplift souls through gospel music, sharing the love of Christ and encouraging spiritual growth in every community I reach.

It is my hope that I can be a blessing, if not an inspiration, to any and all that join me in singing praises unto the Lord. If even one is lead to Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior...well that is the whole purpose now isn't it?

A Firm Foundation

From Perry Mallory

“I didn’t come this far to stop.”

Whether good, bad, or somewhere in between, we all start somewhere—and my beginning was no different.

Our walk as Christians begins with a firm foundation to stand upon. Scripture tells us, “For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.” — 1 Corinthians 3:11

This is my testimony.

In what became known as the Liberty Street Prayer Meetings, which is now First Assembly of God Church in Conneaut, Ohio, a congregation of believers was formed. The congregation later met in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Tucker—my grandparents.

My mother, Pauline (Tucker) Mallory, recalled, “In 1922, there was a sewing bee held at the home of my mother, Bertha Tucker, on Rockwell Street, making clothes for a missionary to India, Anna Helmbrecht.”

My mother went on to tell how she fell down the steps and hit her head, injuring a nerve that controlled the motion and strength of her left side. The doctors said she would be paralyzed, with no hope of recovery.

Her parents believed in healing. Throughout that year, my mother was prayed for fervently by her parents and their friends at church.

She recalled, “One morning, when Father went out to work, he found three men sitting in a car in the driveway. They had been there through the night praying for my healing. That morning, I moved one finger, indicating that God was starting to heal me and giving these people added faith.”

Over the course of a year, through gradual and progressive healing, my mother regained full use of her left side.

“And they all gave God the praise and glory.”

All praise and glory to God!

I gave my life to the Lord and was born again in that Liberty Street Church when I was eight years old. I remember being at the left-side altar of that church, beginning a journey that would shape the rest of my life.

Growing up on a large dairy farm in Ohio, I was surrounded by the wonder of God’s creation. I learned early that faith is not simply something we talk about—it is something we live.

Have I always walked as God wanted me to? No.

Have I always found my way back to the right path? Yes.

Why?

Because of the faith Jesus forged in my grandparents and my parents, my own faith became grounded in Him and His Word. As Proverbs 22:6 reminds us, “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.”

That firm foundation has followed me throughout my life.

Every day, I thank my Lord for His blessings to me—including the blessing of a long, healthy life, and the wisdom, peace, and riches I have found in the Lord.        I am especially thankful for the power and peace the Holy Spirit has given me.

I married my lovely wife, Audrey, in 1983. Two years later, we discovered that God truly does have a sense of humor when He blessed us with twins, Danielle and Andrew.

It has been, and continues to be, an honor to use my “Gift of Helps,” or gift of service, that God has given me. Through music as a Southern Gospel soloist and evangelist, He has allowed me the privilege of showing His love and ministering to the body of Christ.

Looking back, I can see that every chapter of my life has been built upon the same foundation—the foundation of Jesus Christ.

My grandparents stood upon it.

My parents stood upon it.

My mother’s healing became part of its testimony.

At eight years old, I made that foundation my own.

Through the years, I have stumbled, strayed, learned, grown, and found my way back to the path God has laid before me. Through it all, He has remained faithful.

My Christian experiences here on this earth are built on God’s firm foundation. And one day, this earthly journey will end—either when Jesus takes us home in the Rapture, or when I graduate to Heaven and begin a new chapter in His presence.

Until then, I will keep standing on that firm foundation.

Jesus Christ.
